I was visiting the places appearing in the "5cm per second" movie and felt the urge to draw one of them myself. (So please don't start on "OMG it's stolen from the movie!!", I really gave it a shot all by myself. Approx. 30 hours of work.)
It took me quite some time to get the drawing right, but in the end I'm rather happy with the outcome.
Still: I can't draw plants. Especially not leaves.
I can't get them right. I don't know if I lack patience or devotion to draw plants, but I'd be very glad for any help :'D (The tree to the right is a mixture of brushes and handdrawn... dots? "orz )
Looking at it now, I might better have spent some more time on several parts in there, but for now I'm fine with how it looks. I'll see that when I try the next one and mayyyybe have gotten a bit better by that time :3

I think you've done a pretty good job with the plants, especially the tree in the front.
For the ones in the background I'd simply suggest adding more contrast. Try making the part on the right darker and less contrasted so it really appears in the shadows, and add a few lighter highlights on the left part. That might help to integrate the vegetation a bit more.
